In July 2011, the personnel of Oranta’s assisting company Garant-Assistance successfully prevented an attempt of illicitly obtaining the insurance indemnity under the contract of voluntary vehicle insurance for the sum of over UAH 40 thousand.
Oranta continues to publish regular reports to their customers and partners in terms of the funding assigned to the payment of the insurance compensation to the policyholders of the Company. Thus, in July the total amount of indemnity payments conducted by the company amounted to 18,719,943 hryvnia, and since the beginning of the year it totaled to 111 492 030 hryvnia.
In the first half of 2011 the total amount of the insurance premiums for health insurance (permanent health insurance) in the network of Oranta reached 13 511, 4 thousand hryvnia. Compared with those in 2010 (1728, 4 thousands of premiums obtained for the first half), the volume of the insurance payments of this type of insurance has increased almost 8-fold.
Recently Oranta released a completely new and attractive product for individuals called “Unlimited Dentistry”. This voluntary medical insurance has no analogues in the Ukrainian insurance market.
For 5 months of 2011 Oranta attracted UAH 138.8 million in insurance premiums for the compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners. The insurance payments for this type of insurance totaled to UAH 43.8 million.
